Gaylord Palms Gets A $50-Million Dollar Makeover

And while this passion for successful meetings hasn’t changed, we’re now investing in a host of magnificent renovations to ensure your group has a Gaylord Palms experience they will never forget. Through an impressive $50 million renovation project slated thru Spring 2012, Gaylord Palms is elevating the attendee experience by developing one-of-a-kind new venues, captivating new networking environments, captivating new guest rooms, and over-the-top new experiences – plus the all new Relâche Wellness Center, a dedicated state-of-the-art facility offering group wellness seminars, fitness classes, nutritional guidance, and private and group classes.

For special events in a lush outdoor oasis, we’re designing an expansive 10,000 square foot Grand Event Lawn with strategically-placed fire pits and dramatic lighting fixtures. We’re tackling the unthinkable and designing a two-story Sports Bar and entertainment venue with an oversized multi-level video screen, which will overlook the new ultra chic, ultra private South Beach Adult Pool below. Our younger guests will enjoy an Everglades-inspired Family Water Theme Park area showcasing a zero-entry beach themed swimming pool with waterslides, a water playground, toddler pool area, and a huge splash of animated adventures. And best of all, our Grand Event Lawn, Sports Bar, South Beach Adult Pool, and Family Theme Park Pool areas can each be reserved for one-of-a-kind group functions. And to punctuate our grand renovation plan with the ultimate blend of comfort and style, we’re updating each of our Guest Rooms with luxurious furnishings, flat screen TV’s, modern conveniences, all in a relaxing yet refined Florida décor to enhance your attendees’ glorious view of the Sunshine State at Gaylord Palms.
