Stephen M. Bachman has 43 years of construction experience in the retail store construction industry. In 1976, Stephen accepted a position with Wilson’s The Leather Experts (formerly Berman’s) in their construction department. Eventually, he became manager of construction overseeing all aspects of construction/store planning, inclusive of managing in-house superintendents as Berman’s expanded across the U.S.

In 1984, Stephen established Retail Construction Services, a commercial general contracting firm specifically building retail stores, clubhouses, banks, and community centers throughout North America, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Here, he managed projects in most states and Puerto Rico, working directly with over 25 retailers. Stephen was also responsible for all hiring, training and management as the company grew to 125 employees.

Currently, Stephen oversees some operations, finance, and marketing, although the infrastructure has matured with the addition of key management personnel in all areas of the company who are responsible for their respective departments.
