As Centennial’s senior vice president of mixed-use development, Michael leads the transformation of Centennial’s retail portfolio into vibrant mixed-use destinations that enhance shareholder value.

Michael has more than 20 years of experience as a developer / architect / designer working in the retail, mixed-use, hospitality and corporate sectors and is actively involved in all phases of development, from initial concept and feasibility studies to design development through construction.
Prior to joining Centennial, Michael served as vice president of development + design for Starwood Retail Partners with responsibilities that encompass the entire 30-property, 30 million SF Starwood portfolio.
Before joining Starwood, Michael served as vice president of design at Westfield, responsible for all facets of design including concepts, documentation, consultant management and entitlement assistance. His Westfield projects included the award-winning Westfield World Trade Center’s ground-up development. Before that, he led projects and teams at Perkins Eastman and RTKL, both full-service, global, multi-disciplinary architecture, planning and design firms specializing in the creation of unique spaces that enrich people’s lives. His professional experience includes a wide array of both foreign and domestic projects.
