In her role at Public Storage, Shannon Markwell manages all aspects of construction from site evaluations, budgets, design, construction and schedules for acquisitions on a national level.

Prior to Public Storage, Markwell was the director of facilities and maintenance for Charlotte Russe. Here, she lead her team though multiple remodels, new initiatives and software implementations.

When she is not pushing numbers and schedules with general contractors, Markwell spends her time in the gym as a fitness instructor and competitor — apropos for someone who is “always up for a challenge.”
