Edwin Alvarez is a Senior Manager for CVS Health, serving on their Supplier Diversity team for the last 5 years. Within his role, some of his key responsibilities are working closely with the various Category Managers and Sourcing Analysts in the CVS Health Procurement Department to identify sourcing needs across the enterprise, introduce diverse owned suppliers to those opportunities, and support each of those groups along that process. As a entrepreneur that has a small diverse owned business himself; he has a unique “both sides of the table” perspective that helps him provide relevant insights to the suppliers he engages. He has been with CVS Health for 8 years and works out of their corporate offices in Woonsocket, RI.

Edwin attended Johnson & Wales University (B.A. Marketing) and the University of Rhode Island (M.A. Business Administration) both in Rhode Island; where he resides with his wife and two daughters. He is fluent in Spanish and is an avid camper and snowboarder.
