Kate Cinnamo has served as Executive Director of Explore The Trades since 2017. Working with residential service companies and industry vendors, Kate has led Explore The Trades to a singular focus – to bring plumbing, HVAC, and electrical trades career possibilities directly to students and educators.

Explore The Trades has distributed skilled trades-focused classroom resources to over 1,900 schools in the U.S. and Canada, impacting more than 345,000 students from elementary through high school. Kate works in partnership with education and industry in communities around the country to help establish talent pipelines and created an industry-to-school partnership which has equipped 14 schools in the U.S. with plumbing and HVAC equipment since 2021. Kate is also a founding member of the Skilled Trades Advisory Council.
