Daniel Buttry joined Verizon in 1994 — when the company still operated as Bell Atlantic Mobile. Fall of 2026 marks Buttry’s 32-year-tenure with the company — one that consists of five years covering retail sales, three years committed to facilities, real estate and construction, and 24 years in design and construction, including some national signage rebranding and facade projects.

A majority of Buttry’s career at Verizon has been spent largely across the Great Lakes Area which encompasses regions across Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky and West Virginia.

Overall, Buttry has been responsible for new store builds from ground up projects, gray shell fit-outs, vanilla box fit-outs, remodels, refreshes, fixture roll outs, rebranding, repairs, emergencies related to hurricanes and flooding, and acquisitions requiring multi retail location rebranding efforts.
