Eddie Bowles is a retail industry professional with over 30 years of
experience on both the tenant and landlord sides of the business. He
currently serves as senior director of tenant coordination in the retail
division of Brookfield Properties. The portfolio includes mixed-use,
multi-family and hospitality — with the vision of reimagining through
redevelopment.

Bowles is based in Chicago, and also spent several years in the Los
Angeles and New York City offices. His experience ranges from retail
store management, facilities services, leasing, design, construction
and development.

Bowles also serves on Brookfield Properties Partner to Empower
Team, a program committed and dedicated to help break down the
systemic racial barriers that members of our communities’ face in
developing retail entrepreneurship. Through advocacy, business
planning and guidance, resources, funding and business workshops,
the goal is to help business owners of color, including but not limited
to Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, Asian, and Pacific Islander
Americans, open brick-and-mortar stores in their shopping centers.
