Jamie Scott serves as Deputy Chief of Staff at the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. In this role, he supports the Deputy Mayor and Chief of Staff with DMPED's budget, policy, and administrative functions; coordinates with agencies in the economic development cluster; and support’s DMPED's retail development priorities. Jamie was previously Interim Director of Business Development, where he executed strategies to grow the District's economy, including investments in high-growth industries and small businesses. Prior to DMPED, Jamie spent six years leading economic development for the Georgetown BID.
